President

Hitting | Pitching Instructor

DJ was an All State player in Football and Baseball out of Clarksville High School. He played in the North/South game after graduating. DJ continued his sports career by playing Football at the University of Evansville.

DJ is the current president of the Southern Indiana Rawlings Tigers and coaches one of their High School teams. He is a certified Speed and Agility Coach by the CSAC and the NSPA. DJ has been trained by the practices of Ron Wolforth Texas Baseball Ranch, Mike Ryan Hitting, and has been co-developer of the Velocity programs taught here at the Lumber Yard.

DJ resides in Sellersburg with his wife Cheryl, sons Dane and Deacon, daughters Danica and Demi.

Hitting | Fielding Instructor

From Fishers, IN. Played softball at Fishers High School and was awarded defensive player of the year 2x. She played travel softball for the Indiana Shockwaves. Went on to play softball at the University of Charleston where she was a 3 year captain. She played outfield and was a slapper.

Webster Walls

Pitching | Hitting | Fielding Instructor

Webster Walls just graduated as a 4 year player at Bellarmine University which is a Division 1 in the ASUN Conference. At Bellarmine he was an infielder and pitcher.

Web played at Clarksville High School making all-area, all-conference and all-state teams and also played travel ball for the Rawlings Tigers.

Brian Campbell

Pitching | Hitting | Fielding Instructor

Brian Campbell, a native of Sellersburg, Indiana, and a Silver Creek alum, played four years of collegiate ball: two for Vincennes University as a pitcher and infielder and two for Spalding University as an infielder.


Campbell earned his bachelor's degree in Education in 2021 before starting his coaching career.


Following graduation from Spalding University, Campbell returned to Vincennes University where he served as the Associate Head Coach for three years. His duties included recruiting and developing infielders and hitters to play at the next level. In his first season as Vincennes’ hitting coach, the offense had a team average of .321.


Campbell just finished his 2nd season as the manager of a summer collegiate team, Madisonville Miners, in the Ohio Valley League. This past summer, he led the Miners to their first ever regular season championship.
Campbell is entering his first year on the IUS baseball coaching staff. He will be in charge of the outfielders as well as assisting the hitters.

Hitting | Fielding Instructor

Vince Tornincasa will be joining the Indiana University Southeast Coaching staff as the lead Assistant Coach tasked as the Recruiting Coordinator and hitting coach.

In 2023 Vince was named to the University of Southern Indiana Baseball coaching staff and was tasked with being the recruiting coordinator and working with the Screaming Eagle hitters. As a team, USI improved 11 hitting statistics from the previous year with two players being named to the 2nd team All OVC team.

Tornincasa comes to USI after managing the Rockford Rivets in 2023 and 2022. The 2023 Rivets finished with the third-best record in the league, completing the season with 45-27 mark. The Rivet's 45 wins in 2023 was a regular season record.

As the 2022 hitting coach and interim manager, Tornincasa helped the Rivets to a 37-35 record, including a 20-16 record and second-place finish in the Great Lakes East Division.

In addition to managing the Rivets, Tornincasa was the hitting coach at the University of Illinois Springfield in 2023. The Prairie Stars finished second in the GLVC, batting .313 as a team with 70 Home Runs and a .414 On Base Percentage. Illinois Springfield also had one player earn honorable mention All-America and All-Region honors and two players earn All-GLVC awards.

Prior to managing the Rivets and assisting with Illinois Springfield, he was an assistant coach at Andrean High School. He was the infield coordinator and helped the program win the 2022 Indiana State Championship.

Tornincasa also assisted with Carroll Merchants, a M.I.N.K. League team, and an assistant coach from 2015 to 2020 for Purdue University Northwest.

A native of Northwest Indiana, Tornincasa was a member of a pair of Indiana state championship teams as a player at Andrean High School.

Brandon Boxer

Hitting | Fielding Instructor

A former collegiate athlete who played at the University of Charleston, Indiana University Southeast, and Cumberland University. As a player, had a career .312 batting average, .442 OBP, 12 home runs, and 55 stolen bases. While at IUS was second team all conference utility, with a batting average of .391.

As a coach he has spent the last two summers as an Assistant Coach in the Ohio Valley League, a summer collegiate league for the Henderson Flash, where he helped lead them to a divisional title in 2023 and a league championship in 2024.

Madison Wathen

Pitching Instructor

Madison played collegiately at Valpo and finished her career at IUS where she earned NFCA All-Region accolades in her senior year where she led all pitchers in the River States Conference in wins (18) and strikeouts-per-7 inning (11.2) and finished second in the RSC in ERA (1.63) and strikeouts (240). At the end of the regular season, her Ks-per-seven innings ranked second nationally in the NAIA while her total strikeouts ranked seventh.
